Rawang, 25 May 2025 - Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP) made history today with the successful debut of its first-ever cycling event, the BTP Mountain Bike Jamboree 2025. Organised by Low Yat Group and managed by Cyclomotion Sdn. Bhd., the event drew an enthusiastic crowd of riders and supporters, marking a significant milestone for one of Northern Klang Valley’s largest and most vibrant townships.

Capped at 600 participants, the jamboree attracted cyclists from across Malaysia and abroad, all eager to take on a scenic yet challenging 40km route comprising both off-road and on-road segments. The course meandered through BTP’s signature landscapes—rolling hills, tranquil lakes, and shaded forest trails—offering a rewarding ride for participants across 13 competitive categories, designed to accommodate a wide range of ages, experience levels, and bike types:

The event began at 7:00 AM at the BTP Sales Gallery in Rawang, which also served as the start and finish line. Participants collected their race kits a day prior, building excitement for what turned out to be a well-received and flawlessly executed event.

Beyond the cycling challenge, the jamboree also served as a community celebration, featuring lucky draws, food truck, and showcases by event sponsors and homegrown businesses. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the latest property offerings in BTP, adding a lifestyle and investment dimension to the event’s appeal.

All finishers were awarded commemorative medals, celebrating their effort and completion of the course. Winners in each category received additional prizes and a plaque, with the top 10 finishers in every category officially recognised for their outstanding performance.

“The overwhelming response and smooth execution of BTP MTB Jamboree 2025 reflect our township’s growing appeal and active lifestyle potential,” said Mr. Andrew Goh, General Manager of Rawang Lakes. “We’re proud to have hosted this landmark event and look forward to making it an annual tradition.”
